1.1 How we collect your personal data

Personal data means any data that, either on its own or jointly with other data, can be used to identify a natural person. By using GS Automatic Power products or services, you may need to provide personal data. These personal data can be different according to different products or services. In some cases, you may be able to opt not to disclose your personal data to GS Automatic Power. However, not providing GS Automatic Power with certain data may mean that we cannot provide you with certain products or services or respond to an issue that you have raised. GS Automatic Power will only use your personal data for the purpose of this policy.

1.1.1 You directly provide us with such data

⁤Account information. When you register a GS Automatic Power account, you may need to provide your name, account, password, Email and phone number, etc.

When you contact us for support and suggestions, attend our online/offline event, subscribe to our marketing notification(We won’t do customer portraits and only send you notification with your approval. 1.1.2 Obtain data when Interact with us or using our products and services

Products and network information. We may collect your products information, e.g. device location, Longitude & Latitude, device type or device name, device SN, device ID, firmware version, language, etc.

The user’s SIM card-related card number, IC card ID, International Mobile Subscriber ID, and recharge transaction record (including buyer login account number, order number, order title, order amount, payment method, etc.) using the GPRS module. The AI function is only triggered upon your active interaction; however, please note that it currently does not display prominent consent prompts. We recommend avoiding inputting sensitive personal information when using AI services.

Device log. When you use our products and services to check our contents, we will automatically collect the necessary log, e.g. server login time, event (e.g. fault, crash, reboot, update), etc.

Forecast-related data. To support load forecasting and automated control features, we may collect data including device operation metrics (e.g., energy consumption/generation), manually entered or externally sourced electricity tariffs, location-based weather conditions, and geographic coordinates of your energy system (plant). These data are processed to enable predictive algorithms on both edge devices (xHub/EMS) and cloud platforms.

Push notification data. When you enable push notifications, we may collect certain data such as your account ID, device ID, language, and country/region settings. This information helps us deliver relevant product updates, announcements, or service alerts to your device. You may manage or disable push notifications at any time via your mobile device system settings.

To deliver such notifications, we rely on third-party push service providers, including:

Jiguang (JPush) for users in mainland China;

Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for Android users outside China;

Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) for iOS users.

These providers act as data processors under our instructions and are contractually obligated to comply with applicable data protection laws. Only limited data (such as device ID, language, and region) is shared for the sole purpose of enabling notification delivery. These third parties do not use your data for profiling or advertising purposes.

1.1.3 Obtain data from public and commercial third-party sources

As permitted by law, we may also obtain non-personally identifiable information(Non-PII) from public and commercial third-party sources, like acquiring maps from Google Map, and weather conditions from Q weather etc.. Non-PII is information that cannot be used to identify a particular individual. For example, purchasing statistics from other companies to support our services.

GS Automatic Power will collect statistical data, such as the numbers of visits to its website. We collect this data to understand how users use our websites, products, and services so that we can improve our services and better satisfy your needs. GS Automatic Power may collect, use, process, transfer, or disclose non-PII for other purposes at its own discretion.

We will endeavor to isolate your personal data from non-PII and ensure that the two types of data are used separately. If personal data is combined with non-PII, it will still be treated as personal data during processing.

1.2 How we use your personal data

We may use your personal data for the following purposes:

Creating an account. We will create an account for those who are interested in our products and services. This account can be your identification to login our products and services. We may also send your important information through this account.

Respond to your request. When you visit our website, attend our online/offline event asking for services (e.g. products and services specification, marketing material, etc) and any product support.

Contacting you with your consent; sending you information about products and services that may interest you; inviting you to participate in GS Automatic Power activities (including promotional activities), market surveys, or satisfaction surveys; or sending you marketing information. You can opt out by disabling the agreement at software or sending the email to info@solaxpower.com.
